Telkom and Roving Insight Signs Telkom Flexi Community

On May 7th 2009 PT. Telekomunikasi Indonesia, Tbk or Telkom, through its product Telkom Flexi, General Manager, South Jakarta, Mohammed Firdaus, signed a memorandum with founding Chairwoman Loreen Neville of Roving Insight Executive & Diplomatic Club, a non-profit organization, into Telkom Flexi community agenda. The signing ceremony was attended by top executives of PT. Telkom, Director of Consumer I Nyoman G. Wiryanata, Deputy General Manager South Jakarta, Hesti Nugrahani, the vice mayor of South Tangerang Mohammaed Saleh, Chairman DPRD South Tangerang Arief Wayudhi, and law enforcer newly installed south Jakarta Police Commissioner and Chief Firman Santyabudi (Firman Santyabudi replaces South Jakarta Police Chief Anwar Chairul) and South Jakarta vice police chief Kris Erlangga. The ceremony was held to celebrate the appreciation and joint efforts of community 100 and the inauguration of the building of Telkom Plaza Ciputat, South Jakarta which was also held on the same day.
Flexi is the CDMA technology-based telephone service with the broadest coverage area in Indonesia. Community Flexter Zero twenty one located at Telkom office in Jakarta Selatan, was established in 2004, consisting mainly of office workers, hobbyists, students and so on.
According to Telkom South Jakarta GM Firdaus, who thank the 200 guests, including awardees of the Flexi Community program, “the most active flexi communities are community from the ‘Klinik Sehat’ with about 2,155 members. Flexi workers from Komunitas pedagang-Blok M with 3, 149 members, Flexi School from the University of Indonesia with 1,398 members and Community Flexter for the Situ Gintung disaster.
The leaders from the top Flexi communities were awarded with trophies in appreciation for their participation by PT. Telkom, Director of Consumer I Nyoman G. Wiryanata.
On line with Telkom Flexi program, the signing of E-Security for up market consumers through Telkom speedy was also initiated in cooperation with Police Unit from South Jakarta. PT. Guardforce/CRS Indonesia was signed up into the program.
E Security is a CCTV internet installation pc program which enables the consumer to see premises even from the office or residence on a personal computer. This program is available free of charge provided the consumer is a speedy internet customer.
